Food was good, cozy atmosphere. Wish my waitress had a bit more personality
Our food is good, our children loved their chicken fingers. It's typical american food. Kinda pricey for a small town, paid the same price in Vegas restaurant. The difference between them is the excellent customer service in which I dont mind paying extra. The guy Aaron, is the all around person. Cool guy and very personable. Would definiyely get back when were in the area.
Just great service and food. I can truly recommend!
Not many choices in town. This place seemed to be more popular. Glad we stopped by. Biscuits and Gravy are huge and worth every penny. Next time I want to try this ridiculously large cinnamon bun!
Awesome awesome food, ordered the one biscuit and gravy meal that one biscuit was huge!!!! Friendly staff makes you feel at home.
We stopped here for breakfast which was delicious, but slow getting to us. I like to get a faster start in the morning. That said we spent the extra time looking over the pie menu and picked up a couple of slices to take along for later. They were very good! I would definitely go back.
So you are gonna show up, and it's a little run down, a bit old. They will only have one waitress, serving everyone, chatting it up with each table. You will see the menu and it will look pretty simple. Takes a while to get your order. Your expectations will be low. YOU WOULD BE WRONG. Food is great! And reasonably priced! Unlike if you stay near Ruby's inn or Escalante. The waitress is polite, has great advice, and never forgets a single part of your order ,or to refill your coffee. So glad we stopped by here!
Okay food, expensive place! Considering that isn't many options near by this is a okay restaurant! Waitress was super polite and friendly! Don't get the mashed potato, the gravy is terrible, go with the French fries!!! We paid about $40 for two sandwiches and two coffees...
Service was quick, everyone was super friendly. Food was quite good, a decent selection. I did wish they had a kids menu, that aside, it was a great place to stop with our family on our way through town!
A diner in a small town. Service was not fast, but food was good. Basic menu but all we had was good. At our table we had a steak, a homemade pot pie, spaghetti, and fried fish. I eat GF and didn't have any problem with the steak. Cooked a perfect medium rare.
Really nice staff and a great steak sandwich!
Classic American diner. I think they could step up the quality of their ingredients, but in a small town i’m sure it’s kind of hard to justify the cost. Great service though! And good music. I had the cheesy potato soup and it was great! Chicken pot pie and chicken fried steak weren’t amazing but weren’t terrible. Mashed potatoes were pretty much water. Sorry guys! But I would come back to support a local business!
Good food and friendly service. We had half a day to kill before we could get to our rental since it was raining and snowing. Just be patient if you go here! There was a long wait for pretty much everything ( seats, coffee, menus, order bring taken) and because of that there we a lot of older people who were really mad about having to wait. Get over it! This is pretty much the only place open on Sunday so your options are limited and the staff was doing their best as they were understaffed. We liked it!
Stopped in here after spending the day hiking around Zion NP, it was worth the drive. I got the Flying M club sandwich, very filling, dipped it in ranch and regained all the calories I’d lost earlier in the day. Then we really topped things off with bread pudding a la mode. The patrons and staff were fun to talk to and listening to their stories was a great way to end our trip to southern Utah.
Good food, but the service was just okay, our waitress was nice but the other waitress wasn't very friendly, an older lady. Maybe she was having a bad day. Got a sweet roll to go but it wasn't good or fresh. In the past it was fresh and excellent. When Joan was the owner.
Great vegetarian options. Loved the veggie burger.
If you want to stay near Grand Canyon, you will find the cheapest one in panguich. We got really bored eating mac’s breakfast, do this restaurant was a relief for us. Awesome food with cheap price. Scrambled eggs was very tasty. You may need to wait a bit for your food to arrive. You can buy some souvenir from the adjacent store!
Timely, friendly service. Simple no fuss food. Appears to be family-owned with every one working hard to make this a welcoming establishment. Plus, we enjoyed being called "kids" by the waitress. No pics. We ate too quick.
A great place to stop and eat! Friendly staff and good quality food.
Friendly place to stop. Food is regular diner selection. There's a little gift shop inside with random oddities. Good coffee.
After the thrilling vistas coming east over the range on Hwy 89, we were happy to find a restaurant open on Sunday here. We thought we were settling for what was available. Instead, we were treated to excellent comfort food: hot turkey sandwich for me with plenty of meat, and a huge chili size for my spouse with a side of chicken tortilla soup. All around us along the wall were vintage whiskey bottles. 27 Lionstone whiskey statues are displayed, along with a mixed selection of others. A quick check on eBay showed the Lionstone bottles alone are worth around $700 $800. We'll drive on down the road replete, with some new memories for our local explorations.
The food was good though it took well over an hour to get our food. They left trash on our table from the last people at our table and we had to ask for it to be taken. They also had a dog roaming around.
Worst dinner ever, horrible service, huge wait for food and to get seated, not a friendly staff. You can clearly see that they are not prepared to serve more than 2 persons and it's a touristy town because of Bryce and they can't scale. Avoid and starve if you have to
Great breakfast! Delicious pancakes, bacon, coffee, and a monster sized cinnamon roll!
One word... JODY! The reason we stop in here every year is because Jody is AWESOME!! She has the funnest personality and goes the extra mile to make sure our dining experience is enjoyable every time! She’s very attentive and makes sure we have everything we need! Already looking forward to our next visit!
Friendly service, homestyle food. Closing for winter season 2017 to 2018. Opening again in the Spring.
Very friendly helpful staff ... good home town cooking and we love the gift shop too :)
